Timely Ideas recently helped graduate students studying corporate communications at Baruch College in New York City apply their skills by leading them through a successful department web site makeover. Redesign of the Master of Arts in Corporate Communications web site was undertaken to better convey vital information about the program and raise its profile on the College’s broader web presence. Timely Ideas led a team of volunteer students in defining requirements, benchmarking competing programs, updating content and integrating Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social features into the revamped site. Implementation was coordinated with the College’s web technologies department and took about 90 days to complete.
“The new site is fresh, informative and user focused,” said Michael Goodman PhD, and Director of the MA in Corporate Communication program at Baruch. “It shows why Baruch is the premier communications program in the region and will greatly help us stay connected with students.”
